I am a cabinet maker and haven’t as yet expanded to the net because of the logistics involved with designing cabinets for unique spaces.

My custom cabinets are beautiful and made to fit spaces where other makers of cabinets, those that are made by the millions, won’t touch the job.

So, I have to figure out how to best interface my custom business with the net.

It may or may not be possible.

It can take as much as a month to complete a custom cabinet job, and the measurements alone can take up to 20 hours to complete.

So, how all of that can be done using the net is still something I’m trying to figure out.

Measuring for cabinets is tricky, and the average consumer would not be able to do it accurately.

That means almost certainly I would have to contract with a cabinet specialist in a person’s community which would then drive the cost through the roof.

May not be possible. Mass produced cabinets are nice enough for most folks. It is the exceptional contractor or family looking for art in their cabinetry.

In the meantime, the web site I list is my hobby. I have found ToysPeriod to be the artists of the toy industry. How they keep their prices as low as they do is a mystery that I haven’t figured out. Probably why I’m still not on the net and they are.

So, I use them in the website box. Their standards are even higher than mine, as hard as that is for me to believe.
